It is my pleasure to run for Governor of the State of Michigan under the US Taxpayers Party! I'm Donna Brandenburg and welcome to my blog! Being born and raised in Michigan, it is my home and I love living in the mitten! We were given a great gift, this nation and the freedoms we enjoy. Our nation is in trouble and needs a maintenance to keep those freedoms.
I'm a Constitutional Conservative, an unapologetic Christian, and believe that we were given unalienable rights by God, which are guaranteed by the Constitution. The Founding Fathers lived with tyranny in their time, and we are seeing the same offenses-committed against us in our time. We need to go back to simpler times, deregulate, decentralize and put Michigan in order...accomplish a little house cleaning. We the People are taking Michigan back and restoring the American dream.

In regards to ANY attempt to disarm Americans, whether it be through unconstitutional laws, mandates, back room deals ... strong arm tactics, or UN treaties... We the people will not obey any illegal assault on our God-given rights which are guaranteed by the Constitution!!! Our Founding Fathers warned us about you, and wrote the 2nd Amendment with YOU in mind. We will not tolerate the grooming, assault and abuse of our children. Children are a gift of God, and we will defend the rights and the duty of parents to raise their children. We will defend those without a voice and stand strong in unity against anyone who is a traitor to this nation and our people. We stand together, in unity, one nation out of many...one nation under God. And just so we are clear...as much as you would like us to think otherwise, the 2nd Amendment was written for a single purpose...to defend our freedom from tyrants in power.
